Outdoor Photography – Dhanushani and Harsha

Last time we posted the Wedding of Dhanushani and Harsha and that shoot wasn’t enough for Harsha, so they discussed with us regarding this outdoor photographs. to make this much more memorial photo shoot we decide to do a underwater photography with them.

Before we go underwater photography we took some time to capture the beauty of the surrounding, so we shoot some photographs of Dhanushani and Harsh combining there colors with surrounding colors.

This is one of the best photo that we took in this session. hope you all like this too.

Before starting the underwater photography session we took some half underwater photographs as well.

To make this underwater photography session more creative we brought some cherries as well.

Actually we need thank Harsha and Dhanushani specially on this session since because without there support we can’t take this session to this much of creativity.

If you watch carefully you can see that there is a fish in front of the couple and actually the camera is also focused to it.

Wedding of Alefiya and Omar.

In the previous Studio U blog post we show you some creative casual photo shoot that took place in Galle fort, Sri Lanka. now we are going to share their wedding photos and this is also one of my best wedding photo shoot.

To enhanced the creativity in this wedding photos some of them are digitally edited using photoshop.

as always we start our wedding photography with the dressing up of Alefiya.

Normally in studio U we love to take natural shots and Alefiya personally asked from me and my brother Danushka to take simple yet creative natural photos in their wedding function.

for this photo i used my wide angle lens and to get the creativity we change the color and the contrast of the digital image using editing software.

As always our “FISH EYE” lens comes in handy in these kind of shots. fish eye lens can take much wider angel than a normal wide angle lens.

Using basic photographic rules still we can get a good output, even in wedding photography as well.

again using editing software to enhance the creativity.

In the evening Alefiya and Omar dressed up again for the Going away function.

This is called live frames..just kidding,

but it’s a nice shot and we use our fish eye lens to capture this. right place in the right time. and i used high shutter speed to prevent the blur effect coming to the photo.

Starting a new journey with the person who loves you most…

Day light balancing is one of the great way to take best photos, so to be a best wedding photographer rather than a photographer it’s one of the important key point.

Last December we had the opportunity to do a casual shoot of Alefiya and her fiance Omar at Galle fort Sri Lanka,

and we thought it’s better to share some of the best moments of that shoot with you all.

This one was taken using my fish-eye lens, Hopefully weather was perfect on that day and color of the sky was brilliant.

Wedding of Udara and Vipula

On 24th of September 2009.

On 24th of September I was at the Gangarama temple to take wedding photographs of a special couple Udara and Vipula.

their Poruwa ceremony was held at Gangarama Temple in the morning and reception was held at JAIC Hilton in the evening.

For this wedding Vipula who is the groom suited up with a National dress of Sri Lanka and the Bride Udara

was dressed up with traditional Saree.

Colors they have chosen perfectly matched with surrounding colors of the Gangarama Temple

Also the wedding flower bouquet was done by Araliya flowers.

Wedding of Claire and Alessandro

On 6th of April 2010.

Few months back, I got a call from a architect named Alessandro regarding their wedding photography.

bride was Claire who is working in the marketing field. They want to have digital photos of their wedding without the wedding album.

They have selected Jetwing Lighthouse hotel in Galle, Sri Lanka as their location.

on 6th of April we went to Galle to cover up the wedding of Claire and Alessandro.

for this event my brother Danushka who is also a wedding photographer joined with me.

We use Canon 5D mark ii and a Nikon D2XS as digital cameras to capture their special moments.

Here are some few shots that I took as soon as we arrived to the hotel.
